Great VASCD Professional Development Opportunity
Communicating, Collaborating, Coaching: How Great Instructional Coaches Work With Teachers
Participants in this session will learn three basic approaches to coaching that exist along a continuum of practice and will practice matching their coaching strategies to teachers’ professional learning needs. The basic skills of coaching– listening, questioning, and feedback – will be illustrated and practiced. Scenarios will be used to link these approaches and skills to the reality of coaches’ daily work.

Happy new year and welcome back to a great 2015 school year. We are excited to kick off this week with celebrating our reading winners on Saturday, November 10 at the University of Mary Washington gymnasium.
